The Millers round off their 2021/22 league campaign with Saturday's North West Counties League Division One South game against Alsager Town at Church Lane.
The Bullets are the visitors as Dave Birch and Mike Norton's side look to secure three points and ensure a home tie in the Promotion Play Off, before switching their attention temporarily to the Division One trophy in midweek and the trip to Cheadle Heath Nomads.
TEAM NEWS
The Millers have suffered something of a selection crisis in recent weeks with Joe Bevan, Benito Lowe, Akim Samms, Jack Wray, Kyle Oakes and Adam Muir all struggling with various injuries, while Elliot Cooke and Michael Fish have only recently returned to the squad. The joint-Managers must make a decision on several of them ahead of tomorrow's game, with one eye on the play off game in a weeks time. Harry Norris is available to return, while new signing goalkeeper Jordan Latham is expected to take a place among the substitutes. Several members of the New Mills Juniors U18 squad registered with the club in midweek, with the possibility that one or two may be on the bench, but more likely they will feature in midweek.
FORM GUIDE
The Millers had a productive month of March, winning six and drawing two games, form which has seen them now favourites to secure a home play off fixture. Alsager come into the game with just one win in their last six and on the back of a heavy defeat to Brocton in midweek, but they collected a point away from home at champions West Didsbury & Chorlton last weekend and will be looking for another positive result to end their season.
HEAD TO HEAD
The two sides met back in November, a Joe Bevan double cancelled out by goals by George West & Shaquille Lewis, before a Darren McKnight penalty in injury time ensured that The Millers returned back to Church Lane with all three points.
