The Millers continued their unbeaten start to 2025/26 with a hard fought win over a spirited Wolverhampton Casuals side in front of a healthy and vociferous Church Lane crowd.
With Ben McNamara unavailable Adam Dahou made his first start for the club, with Mitch Nolan coming in for his first start of the season in place of the absent Chris Pauley. It was an even opening period as the visitors showed that they were more than willing to commit bodies forward, but it was the home side who went ahead on 36 minutes when Warburton squared to Rio Wilson-Heyes who fired in. Casuals levelled the scores five minutes later when Letford headed home a cross from close range.
On the hour mark Maysan Bernarbia was introduced for Wilson-Heyes and his fresh legs restored The Millers advantage, within minutes of his introduction he set up Keenan Switzer who curled in from 12 yards out. Ten minutes later it was The Millers substitute who was involved again running into the area he was clumsily taken to the ground and a penalty awarded. Will Shawcross fired in from 12 yards out.
The visitors pulled one back in added time, but The Millers hung on to record a second successive victory.
