The reserves have been rewarded with a home Derbyshire Divisional Cup North Semi Final against Bradwell Sports following their single goal victory at Whaley Bridge on Saturday.

On a bitterly cold afternoon at Horwich Park, Chris Prodromis’s first half effort ultimately proved the difference as the holders inflicted their opponents first defeat of the season.

Monday’s Semi Final draw handed Rick Adrio’s side home advantage against Bradwell who are currently sitting pretty at the summit of The Hope Valley League Premier Division having themselves lost only once during their League campaign so far.

The tie is due to be played on Saturday 18th January but with the first team scheduled to be hosting Lancaster City in The Evo Stik NPL on the same day, the fixture will have to be played on an alternative date.

The other Semi Final sees Wirksworth Town host Rowsley ’86.
