Jakovlevs, known for his agility and commanding presence between the posts, brings valuable experience from his time with clubs including Burnley’s youth setup and Clitheroe FC, along with significant experience in the North West Counties Football League at the likes of Bacup Borough, Nelson, Charnock Richard, Silsden and Stockport Town. His shot-stopping ability and leadership qualities are expected to strengthen the Millers’ defensive line as the club looks to build on last season.

Jakovlevs featured for The Millers in Saturday's game at Glossop North End, and was in fine form producing several first class saves.

The club extends a warm welcome to Callum and looks forward to seeing him in action at Church Lane.
