Following the disappointing departure of Russell Saunders to Mossley, goalkeeper Ashley Woodhouse (pictured) made his debut against Bamber Bridge. A product of Stockport County's youth academy, Ashley joined The Millers from Stalybridge Celtic where he had proved an able back-up to Celtic first-choice Jan Budtz, making five first team appearances in total, the last of which was on 19th January in a 4-1 defeat against league leaders Chester.
Young forward Deji Omoboye, who made a late appearance from the bench in the same game, arrived at Church Lane following his release from Stockport County in early 2013. The Manchester born player signed on professional terms at Edgeley Park last Summer and although never playing for the first team, Deji has spent time out on loan at Evo Stik NPL Clubs, namely Kendal Town and Salford City, earlier in the season.
Also joining the first team squad are two young midfielders who come highly recommended. Jack Willison is a second year apprentice at Accrington Stanley's academy and Andy Graham was on Stockport County's books until very recently. Andy has already spent time gaining experience at fellow Division One North side Warrington Town.
