The Millers were eliminated from the Derbyshire Senior Cup last night following a 3-2 defeat at Borrowash Victoria, in a match that was delayed because of the late arrival of the playing staff due to heavy traffic.
The Millers went a goal down just before half-time, before Chris Luby leveled, and then fell behind again in the second half. A late Robert Walton screamer took the game into extra-time but the home side took the lead again, and The Millers were unable to recover again, hampered by the dismissal of skipper Chris Young.
The Millers return to league action this weekend as they travel to Warrington Town looking for revenge for a heavy defeat at Church Lane in September.
