An injury time goal by substitute Christian Blanchette saw The Millers fall to another defeat as their winless run to 2023/24 continues, although once again there was very little to choose between the sides and even after the late goal Joel Ankers had a great chance to level the scores but saw his header flash narrowly wide.

It was a game of very little action, neither keeper really tested over the 90 minutes, with the best opportunities all off target and it appeared that both sides would have to settle for a point, until Blanchette struck at the death.
